Although sadly I do not have an iphone,
(have a Blackberry), I am featured on ifolio
Ifolio is an iPhone/iPod application designed to display portfolios of Photographers, Painters and Illustrators.
When viewing an artist's portfolio, the « Contact » button will provide the viewer with information about the artist (photo, email address, website, a text description, news,, etc.)
A backend website has been developed that allows each photographer to manage their portfolio and its data (email, website link, ...) being displayed in the iFolio application.
iFolio is being distributed for free on the Apple iTunes AppStore and therefore is accessible to anyone with an iPhone or iPod Touch device. As of June 2009, Apple has sold over 35 million of these devices world wide.
Users of the application have the option of tagging an artist to their favorites list. This will increase the popularity of the artist and move them further up the list under the TOP menu.
You can sort the list of the artists in 4 unique ways:
TOP : Popularity by viewer votes (number of fans)
NEW : Displays the artists based on entry date to the app. This will hopefully assist you in discovering new artists.
MODIF : Artists are sorted by the date they modify or add to their profiles. This will help you identify new images added by the artist.
CACHE: This list makes it so you can view the iFolio of the artist again later without an internet connection.
If you are an iFolio artist, you can tell your customers and prospects that you are showing part of your work in the iFolio application, and they will easily be able to find you by searching your name.
The ability to view images through a slideshow is available on every artists portfolio.
The user also has the ability of saving the image to be used as an iPhone or iPod Touch background wallpaper.
A big thank you to
